Fossils for Kids - Learn about the prehistoric past of Florida followed by a fossil dig with take home fossils for everyone.

Cooking from the wild - Especially designed for chefs and those who love to cook, this class is designed to teach you how to identify, collect, and prepare wild edibles.

Florida's Creepy Crawlies- Bug hunting: Get to know what that little bug does for us and which ones are edible. Includes tour.

Wet and Wild - Discover what lurks in the depths of the Crowley Creek on this tour. Dip-netting and critter identification. Dress to be wet.

Reptiles in Your Backyard - Get up close and personal with our local cold-blooded friends on this interactive adventure tour.
Length: 2 hours. Cost: $10 adults, $16 adults
Nature Observation and Tracking - Learn how to track, identify and locate native Florida wildlife. Make plaster castings of tracks. This is a blast!

Nature Photo Safari - Bring your camera for this fun and interactive tour. Learn photographic techniques for better nature photography. Adult, teen or children classes offered. Choose early morning or dusk.

Early Morning Birding (7 a.m.) - Set your alarm clock and bring your binoculars/camera for this fun early-morning adventure. Get out when the animals get up.

Off the Beaten Path - Explore the less traversed paths of CMNC. Be prepared to get dirty and possibly wet. This is a chance to see things most visitors don't get to see.

Backyard Habitats - Take a nature hike and learn how to attract wildlife to your backyard.

ECO-Trainings
Survival School - (7am-3pm) Ages 14 and over. Don"t just watch it on T.V.! Learn what it takes to survive in the wild. Build a shelter, collect food, start a fire without a match and basic survival skills. Meal and snack provided. Be prepared to get wet and dirty.
Length: 8 hours
Cost: $60 per person. Minimum of 4 attendees.
Teacher Trainings
Bringing Nature Into the Classroom- In-depth course taught by naturalist Mark Burrow. Learn how to integrate nature into your curriculum. Class can be customized to meet your curricular needs. Topics may include: schoolyard habitat, fossils, nature identification, crafts with natural materials.
NOTES
Tours: Minimum of 10 attendees. Tours average 2 hours but may run longer. Please wear clothes appropriate for hiking. Bug spray and sunscreen recommended. Tour times and dates negotiable.
